Uh, no. Reportedly, J.Crew has announced their collaboration with luxury website Net-A-Porter and will begin selling their brand on the website in May, opening them up to 170 other countries. Call me a snob, but that makes the appeal of Net-A-Porter go way down for me. Don't get me wrong, I like J.Crew, but have you ever BEEN to Net-A-Porter? Because its the kind of website you visit when you want to look at things you could never afford, like a $1500 cocktail dress from 3.1 Phillip Lim and a $2000 leather ChloƩ Satchel.
And now they're going to sell J. Crew? What's next, Banana Republic? The exclusivity appeal of Net-A-Porter has officially completely disappeared.
