Inspiration for Spring Fashion: The Kennedys

The Kennedys should always be an inspiration for fashion... how could they ever commit a faux pas with their classic look? As far as I'm concerned, sailing gear will never go out of style. However, this Spring more than others, I feel that lady-like look and country clubber lifestyle is prevalent. Although, I'm going to ignore the cue of Hollywood and opt out of the ankle-length skirts because there is no way my five foot two fame will not drown in that. And the fact that I think they're ugly.

So god damn classy.

Ahoy, Matey!

Thinking recently about the wide open sea, a pair of Sperrys Topsiders, and a quaint Sunfish sailboat. These cute totes are made from old sails, are waterproof, and washing machine friendly! The handles are also hand-spliced in their shop in Maine... talk about adorbs.

There are also now nautical themed TOMS shoes... but for $69 I'm starting to wonder where all that extra cash goes, because it def does not cost 70 bucks to manufacture two pairs of canvas shoes. Hm...
